First RISE Meet Up of 2026!

Posted: 10-02-2026

It's the end of another term and as per tradition, we were delighted to host another RISE meet-up at The Point, bringing pupils together to celebrate the end of another positive and busy term.

The full day offered a chance for pupils to pop in during their sessions and reflect on their achievements as well as recognise just how far they’ve come this year. It was wonderful to see growing confidence, stronger communication and improved social skills on display as pupils met up with peers, many of whom they don’t see regularly (or even since our last event, which you can read about here). From chatting and laughing to joining in games, crafts and team activities, there was a real sense of pride and enjoyment throughout.

As always, the meet-up created a relaxed and supportive space where pupils could simply have fun, be themselves and feel part of the wider RISE community. Moments like these highlight the importance of giving pupils opportunities to practise social interaction in a safe, encouraging environment, while also celebrating their hard work and resilience across the term.

We’re incredibly proud of everything our pupils have achieved this spring and loved seeing them come together to mark the end of term on such a positive note. We’re already looking forward to our next meet-up and continuing to create opportunities like this where pupils can connect, grow and thrive.

As ever, our pupils continue to show us what it means to Engage. Succeed. Thrive. RISE.

Testimonials

BCP School Inclusion

Posted: 12-06-2025

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to you and the entire team at RISE. Your unwavering commitment to placing young people at the heart of everything you do is consistently evident, and it does not go unnoticed.

I am especially grateful for the close and collaborative working relationship we have developed. Your willingness to respond promptly and supportively whenever I have reached out regarding a young person in need has been invaluable. You have never let me down, and the level of care and support provided to the young people referred to your service has been exceptional.

RISE’s robust and comprehensive approach to safeguarding offers significant reassurance. It is clear that safeguarding is not just a priority, but a fundamental part of your practice. Knowing that a young person is in your care truly eases the weight on my shoulders as an Inclusion Officer, as I am confident that they are safe, supported, and respected at all times.

Thank you once again for your continued dedication and for the vital role you play in supporting some of our most vulnerable young people.

School CPD Feedback

The RISE Team provided well prepared, high quality and engaging PACE training to staff who work with children aged 3-11. Staff commented on how useful the real life examples were and how these supported them to apply this training in our school environment. The RISE Team worked with leaders before delivering the training which meant we could adapt it to the needs of our school. I have seen many of the strategies being used in school which has lead to the prevention of escalations. Overall,  highly effective training!

"The Mentor has a good relationship with R. She communicates and works well with her when she is having a bad day. There is great communication with myself- the reports are detailed and I enjoy reading them. I know RISE has greatly helped my daughter build her confidence and become a happier child."
