Opening of The Lighthouse

RISE Alternative Provision is proud to announce the opening of The Lighthouse, a new state-of-the-art resource base designed to enhance the learning experience of its students. The Lighthouse offers a welcoming, tailored space to support the individual needs of children within the provision.
The new base includes a range of facilities to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment, such as:
- A fully equipped kitchen for life skills development and hands-on learning.
- A formal learning zone featuring an interactive TV, designed to engage students in dynamic, modern learning experiences.
- A sensory room where students can explore sensory activities that promote relaxation, focus, and emotional well-being.
- A fish tank, offering a calming environment and a space for children to observe and interact with aquatic life.
In addition to these amenities, children at The Lighthouse will also have access to the Forest School on-site, where they can engage in outdoor, experiential learning that fosters creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving.
