We’re thrilled to share that RISE Alternative Provision is launching the Junior Duke Award. The Junior Duke is an exciting new programme that will give our pupils further opportunities to build life skills, confidence, and resilience through meaningful, hands-on challenges.
The Junior Duke is a life-skills award designed to help children grow in independence and capability through practical challenges. It encourages pupils to step outside their comfort zones, try new things, and celebrate their progress along the way. Challenges include practical life skills such as First Aid, cooking, budgeting and eco awareness, alongside opportunities for adventure, creativity and personal growth. Each challenge is designed not only to teach a skill, but also to help pupils build independence, confidence and self-belief.
We’re really looking forward to seeing how our pupils engage with this programme and the many skills they’ll develop along the way. Will all pupils eligible and encouraged to take part, it’s another brilliant opportunity for them to continue to Engage. Succeed. Thrive. RISE.

I would like to thank you all for the support you have given A. Jack made such an immense difference to him last year and worked with us so well to transition A into Year 4 and to this point. Thank you to Lucinda too and all your staff that have worked with him. I have been so impressed with your professionalism and support.
What a success story!

"RISE AP has made a significant impact on the children who attend our school. Many students who were previously out of school are now successfully reintegrated into the classroom, even participating in afternoon sessions - something that once seemed out of reach for them.
This tailored support addresses their unique needs, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally, in a way that truly makes a difference to their overall well-being and future prospects."

"O didn't have any support other than myself to help her and was struggling to cope with life, having the opportunity to have Leila in her life has opened her mind to so much. We were extremely struggling to cope so having Leila's support has helped tremendously.
It has given me hope that not every door is shut to her and there are people out there that want to help, and she can get support that she needs. O was extremely negative about anyone being able to support her as no one had in the past so this opportunity has definitely helped her to have more faith in people and to trust the process."
